This is a view of Niterói city and some of its beaches. The buildings on the left and in the background represent the district of Icaraí along with it's famous beach (of wich it is named after) and in sequence we have the beaches of São Francisco and Charitas. We see Jurujuba Point wich faces Icaraí followed by Morro do Morcego (Bat's Hill), Praia de Adão (Adam's Beach) and the military complex wich is part of the Santa Cruz Fortress. The fortress is situated on the steep wich juts out into the ocean. We also see the forts Barão do Rio Branco and Imbuhy. Behind them we see Piratininga Beach with its lagoon, and behind that is Itaipú Beach.
